In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean MatrimonyTrust. “You” means the person using MatrimonyTrust.
By creating an account on MatrimonyTrust, you agree to these Terms of Service. MatrimonyTrust is a fully digital matrimony platform — no human agents, no call centres. All matches and interactions happen through the platform.
You must be of the minimum legal age of marriage in India — 18 for women and 21 for men — and legally eligible to marry under Indian law. You must provide accurate information and complete phone verification before your profile goes live. You must also be an Indian citizen or a person of Indian origin.
An account must be created by the person seeking a match. There is one exception: a parent may create an account for their own unmarried adult child, with that child’s consent.
Businesses, agencies, matchmakers and marriage bureaus may not hold accounts. MatrimonyTrust is a direct platform between two families: there is no corporate or agent account type, and there never will be. We may remove any account we find to be operated on behalf of a business or as an intermediary service.
Your account is personal and non-transferable. It may not be sold, lent, gifted or transferred to anyone else, and it belongs to one person only.
You are responsible for keeping your password and the one-time codes we send you confidential. Anything done from a signed-in session on your account is treated as having been done by you. If you believe someone else has access, change your password from Settings — this signs out every other device — and contact us.
You are responsible for all content you upload. Profiles with false information, inappropriate photos, or fraudulent intent will be permanently removed. Your photo visibility is controlled by your privacy setting — do not upload photos you do not own the rights to.
We collect and process your data to operate the platform. Your phone number is never shared without your explicit consent. Your phone number is verified via OTP. We do not sell your data, and we share it only with the service providers we need to run the platform — these are named in our Privacy Policy. Please read our Privacy Policy for full details.
Browsing, discovery, horoscope scores and blocking are free. Communication features — starting a chat, revealing contact details, the full Porutham/Kundali breakdown and the match report PDF — require a one-time pack. Starting a chat, revealing contact details and the full Porutham/Kundali breakdown are included in every pack; the match report PDF is included in Diamond and Elite. There is no recurring subscription. All payments are made in Indian rupees and processed via Razorpay. Applicable GST is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Once a purchase is completed and the invoice is generated, payments are non-refundable — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Photographs you upload must be of the registered member. This platform is for matrimonial purposes only and is not a casual dating service. Misrepresenting your identity, marital status or any other material fact will end your account.
We are a platform, not a matchmaker. MatrimonyTrust helps you find and contact other members. We are not responsible for the outcome of any connection, conversation, meeting or marriage that follows.
We verify a phone number, and nothing else. We do not conduct background checks. We do not check criminal records. We do not verify marital status, income, education, employment, horoscope details or any other information a member provides. Every profile is written by the member themselves. Please make your own enquiries before meeting anyone or making any commitment.
We do not guarantee a match. Buying a pack buys access to features, not an introduction, a response, or a marriage.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss; for loss of data or profits; for harm arising from your interactions with other members, whether on or off this platform; or for the accuracy of information provided by members.
Our total liability to you will never exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
You agree to indemnify MatrimonyTrust against any claim arising from your own use of the platform or your breach of these terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, without notice. You may delete your account at any time from My Profile → Settings.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. This does not affect your right to approach a consumer redressal forum under Indian consumer law.
Complaints about a purchase are handled by our Nodal Officer, who acknowledges within 48 hours and resolves within 30 days. The officer's name and contact details are on our Grievance Redressal page.
